New York Diary 07: Washington Square Park ft. NYU

A must-visit spot in NY, in my opinion, is New York University. If you can also visit one of the most famous parks, Washington Square Park, that would be fantastic 🥰. It's a major landmark in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, with the most iconic feature being the commemorative arch inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in France! 🌟 The permanent marble arch in Washington Square was built in 1888 to celebrate the centennial of George Washington's inauguration as President of the United States. Located on Fifth Avenue at the north side of the park, it was designed by a local New York architect who took inspiration from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It's really beautiful when the weather is nice. 🌟 Many of the buildings nearby belong to New York University (NYU), integrating the campus into this world-class metropolis. Students can fully utilize the city's resources both inside and outside the classroom, seamlessly combining academics with practical experience. Studying here must be a blessing. Walking around this area is really pleasant and chill 💕. 🗽 There's an NYU bookstore nearby where I initially wanted to buy a hat. The store sells a variety of products from different brands. However, I realized I didn't have much attachment to the school, so I ended this brief visit 🤣
