Medieval Magic: A Day at The Met Cloisters

The Met Cloisters is a beautiful museum in New York and it is dedicated to medieval European art and architecture. Getting There - You can get there by the subway from the city. Highlights - This is a museum that I didn't expect to exist in New York City! The museum is inside tranquil gardens, that gives off a strong atmosphere of a medieval monastery. 1. Cloistered Gardens - These are beautifully designed gardens inspired by medieval monastic life. The courtyard is so serene and I can sit there all afternoon to admire the landscape. 2. Gothic Chapel - This is a beautiful space that resembles a real gothic chapel, showcasing medieval stained glass windows, funerary sculptures, and religious artifacts. 3. Unicorn Tapestry - This is a series of intricately woven tapestries from the late Middle Ages, depicting the hunt for a unicorn. Very unique piece 4.
