Visit the Nanshan Fude Palace, the place where furnaces are baked

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 The main hall of Nanshan Fude Palace in Hongludi enshrines Fude Zhengshen, Zhusheng Niangniang and Shanshen Xingjun, while the God of Wealth Hall enshrines the Five Gods of Wealth, Wenchang Emperor and Yue Lao Xingjun, etc. In the main hall, the 2-meter-tall statue of the God of Land holds a "big ingot" (Figure 7). Touching it can protect your fortune. Hongluodi is also known as Nanshijiao Mountain, with an altitude of 302 meters, and is located on the southern edge of Zhonghe District. Nanshan Fude Temple was built by immigrants from Zhangzhou. As the land god here is particularly efficacious, the temple has become increasingly popular, and the phenomenon of "first the temple, then the road" has emerged. When you come here, it is recommended to take the Chaicheng Trail (Figures 18-19), an easy, gentle and green trail. It takes about 30 minutes to walk directly to Nanshan Fude Palace. Then you can go down the mountain from the God of Wealth Temple without having to walk up the 452 steps. The whole route is easy and you can see the complete palace and temple. The Nanfude Palace is so gorgeous and magnificent that one can’t help but want to stay for a while.
