Famous for the Queen’s head stone - Yehliu Geopark is a must-visit when you are in Taiwan. Yehliu is a cape at the northen coast of Taiwan, the rocks are all uniquely shaped naturally through tens of thousands of years by wind and sea. The park is moderately sized and it features uniquely shaped stones like glass slippers, mushroom forest, Queen’s head etc. The park is also house to some of the bird species but we did not go on the trail. On average, it is recommended to spend about 1.5hours there. Since it is at the coast, it is super windy but can get very hot due to the lack of shade. We were blessed by cloudy weather so we could walk around comfortably without sweating too much. You will need to purchase entrance ticket — NTD 120 for adults and NTD 60 for kids, where you can do it online or physically at the ticketing booth. How to get there you may ask?
