Nesebar Old Town 🎻

#traveldiaries I recently spent a day in Nessebar Old Town, Bulgaria, and it was a delightful trip back in time! 🏰 This UNESCO World Heritage site is packed with charming cobblestone streets, ancient churches, and beautiful sea views. The entrance to the town is free, which is fantastic considering the rich history you can explore. Wandering through the narrow alleys, I stumbled upon quaint shops selling local crafts and delicious seafood restaurants. I highly recommend trying the fresh fish at a seaside taverna! 🐟 The highlight for me was visiting the Church of St. John the Baptist, with its stunning frescoes. After exploring, I enjoyed a lovely walk along the waterfront, soaking in the sunset. Nearby, you can also visit the ancient ruins of the old fortifications.
