Balmoral Island

#weekendgetaways I'm really happy with our decision to visit Balmoral Island on our cruise excursion. There were only 2 ships in port that day so we basically had the beach to ourselves. We snorkeled (not sure if they provide that, we brought our own), enjoyed the hammock in the water, and just lounged around all day! There were additional excursions like dolphin swim, etc that we didn't purchase. I did reserve a cabana which was in a really pretty location up by the pool but it was a waste of money, we didn't use it. I recommend to check how many boats will be in port for the day. If there's more than 2-3 you may want to consider getting a cabana for your own space. They didn't really have an extensive menu for food...burgers was about it. We didn't eat, but I did have one drink that wasn't great. Our cabana was by the pool, but I never saw anyone in the pool. The ocean was more than perfect for us! There were some innertubes available but if it were a busy day those would have been gone quickly, I'm sure.
