📍Reizenji Temple, Tokushima Prefecture Reizenji Temple is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. The mountain name is Chikuwa-san, and the temple name is Ichijo-in. The main image is Shaka Nyorai. It is the first temple of the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage. It has been selected as one of the 88 Scenic Views of Tokushima. Affectionately known as "Ichiban-san," it is the starting point of the pilgrimage to the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage Sites, and is crowded with pilgrims wearing white robes and sedge hats with the words "Two Companions" written on them all year round.
