Sydney Surroundings 2-Day Tour: Free Kangaroo and Seal Accommodation

This holiday, we don't have plans for long trips, so we decided to go to the countryside to see kangaroos and seals. Destination - Narooma. Accommodation: Since it was a last-minute decision, there weren't many options for accommodation that could accommodate a family of four. We booked the Costal Comfort Motel, two rooms (2 double beds + 1 single bed) for one night at 163 AUD. (In the countryside, it's mostly motels, self-check-in with a code. The beds have electric blankets, and there's air conditioning in the living room.) Convenient location. Food: Narooma Club Since we were stopping and going, by the time we reached Narooma, the sun had already set. The town doesn't have many restaurant options. QuaterDeck was too remote and dark, so we chose the busiest place in town, Narooma Club (Military Club) for dinner. We happened to catch the club's elderly members playing Raffle Ticket tonight and joined in the fun. I have to say, compared to the major military clubs in Sydney, the portions here are really generous!!!! Attractions: Friendly Kangaroos We came all the way from Sydney just to see kangaroos up close. At Pebbly Beach, about four hours away, there's a group of friendly kangaroos, some even hiding in their mom's pouch. Lazy/Cute Seals Just an hour's drive from Batement Bay (with murky water), Narooma's water is crystal clear, and seals of all sizes swim in this emerald jelly-like sea. Some are sleeping, some give you a side-eye, and some families perform water ballet. It's really great for kids. GPS Navigation: Australia Rock. Australia's Purest Water Syd Rock Oyster Farm - Montague OysterP14-15 We thought it would be closed on Sunday, so we went to the recommended The Oyster Farmer's Daughter. But from afar, we heard the sound of sorting oysters. This place wholesales oysters to major restaurants, so these are the freshest, most delicious, and unshucked Syd Oysters. We bought 3 dozen (10 AUD per dozen) and also bought an oyster shucking knife.
