Chiba🇯🇵 Naritasan Shinshoji Temple

Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is a Buddhist temple in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The main deity is Acala, so it has been called "Narita Immovable" since ancient times. It is a major center of Acala belief. During the three-day New Year's Day holiday, as many as 3 million people came to Narita Mountain to make wishes. On Setsubun Day in February, there is a special event where sumo wrestlers and popular entertainers throw beans to ward off evil spirits. The Ichikawa school of Japanese Kabuki master Naritaya Ichikawa Danjuro has deep roots in Naritasan. The name of the Ichikawa family's house, "Narita-ya", comes from Narita Mountain. Since the founding of Narita Mountain, the Goma ritual has been held continuously to pray for world peace and for the wishes of the people who come to worship and make wishes to come true. #ChristmasDestinations2024
