Nara Prefectural National Museum

Nara National Museum is located in Nara Park and exhibits many national treasures and important cultural items. In addition, it also preserves treasures from other temples and shrines throughout Japan, so there are many valuable items here. You can see Buddha statues and paintings that you can’t normally see anywhere else, but they are displayed here only. Every year, this museum holds the “Shosoin-ten” exhibition in the fall. During the autumn foliage season, there are so many people that people line up before the museum even opens. There are also many maple trees around the museum. During the exhibition, the leaves turn red, making it even more lively. It’s fun to take pictures of the red leaves with the deer.
