Inside, I was awestruck by the grandeur of the building and the incredible works of art it houses, including the famous painting by Caravaggio, The Seven Works of Mercy. This masterpiece alone makes a visit worthwhile, with its dramatic depiction of acts of kindness. The quiet and reflective atmosphere of the church contrasts with the bustling streets outside, offering a serene space to appreciate the history and artistry of Naples.
