This autumn, I was truly amazed by Nanxiong! When it comes to seeing ginkgo trees in Guangdong, I used to think I had to go north, but unexpectedly, in Shaoguan Nanxiong, there is actually a "golden paradise"✨ 🚗 How to get there conveniently? I drove from Guangzhou, which took about 4 hours to reach Nanxiong. The mountain road scenery along the way is stunning, and the view outside the window slowly changes from green to yellow, really feeling like autumn is approaching～ If you don’t want to drive, you can take the high-speed train to Shaoguan first, then transfer to a car to Maozifeng Forest Farm 🚙. But honestly, driving yourself is much freer—you can stop whenever you want, even if you just see a beautiful forest to take some photos. 🌟 How beautiful is Maozifeng Forest Farm? Only after arriving did I realize the "Golden Avenue" is not an exaggeration! Tall ginkgo trees stand on both sides, sunlight filters through the leaves onto you, and the whole road seems to glow✨ When the wind blows, the ginkgo leaves fall like golden snow, truly dreamy and unreal! 📸 Photo tips: The best times for photos are around 8-9 AM or 4-5 PM—soft light and fewer people. Wear warm colors like off-white, milk tea, or brown; they look amazing against the golden background! If you want to take photos with fewer people, go early! It really gets crowded around noon on weekends~ 🏡 Where to stay comfortably? Highly recommend staying overnight near the scenic area! I chose a guesthouse that day, with ginkgo trees right outside the window🌳. Waking up in the morning and opening the window to see golden leaves all over the ground, the air even smells sweet. At night, you can brew a cup of tea in the yard, watch the stars, and chat—super cozy. 🍲 What delicious food to try? You must try Nanxiong’s Hakka cuisine~! The dishes I still can’t forget are: Stuffed tofu (crispy outside, tender inside) Sour bamboo shoot duck (incredibly fragrant) Ginkgo chicken soup (perfect for autumn, warming the stomach and nourishing the body~) Some guesthouses even let you cook hotpot yourself, eating and chatting at the same time, very atmospheric🔥 🍊 What else to do along the way? Besides ginkgo trees, Nanxiong has many hidden surprises: In autumn, you can pick oranges and kiwis in the orchards🍊 Pingtian Ancient Village is also worth visiting, with centuries-old houses, stone paths, and ginkgo trees that make for great photos.
