Langshan Mountain

Check in at Langshan Mountain in Nantong on January 30. A poetic place to climb in the city. 📍Langshan Scenic Area (108 m above sea level) Tickets: CNY 60+ per person (daytime); Lantern Festival tickets: CNY 30+ per person (nighttime). The two tickets are not interchangeable. Visitors are asked to leave at 4:30 pm, which is not a good experience. If you want to see the lantern festival, you have to buy tickets and queue again. Management needs to be improved. Transportation Public transportation: Visitors from other cities can first go to Nantong Xingdong International Airport, and then take a bus or taxi. Visitors in the city can take bus No. 5, 13, 22, or 58 to Langshan Station. Self-driving: There is a parking lot in the scenic area. Park in the north gate parking lot. CNY 5/4 hours. Tour route: North gate: Suitable for hiking. Enter from the north gate, walk for about 15 minutes or take a sightseeing bus to the starting point of the mountain, go down the mountain from the south side, and return to the north gate. You can also go to the Garden Expo Park. East gate: Suitable for taking the cable car to worship Buddha. Enter from the east gate, walk for 5 minutes to the cable car entrance, and take the cable car up the mountain. After worshiping, take the cable car down the mountain. South gate: Suitable for self-driving visitors who want to visit Binjiang Park and Langshan Mountain. Enter from the south gate, walk for about 10 minutes to the mountain entrance, or 30 minutes to the cable car entrance. After going up the mountain, walk down the mountain and return to the south gate. Walk for 10 minutes to the Binjiang Trail after leaving the south gate. Check-in points 1. Guangjiao Temple: The general name of the temple on Langshan Mountain. It means "to teach all living beings and spread Buddhism". It has a long history and ancient and solemn buildings. Zhiyun Pagoda: Located at the top of Langshan Mountain, it is 35 m high. It forms a line with Jiangshan Gate, the south gate of Nantong, and the Bell Tower in the city center, forming a unique feng shui landscape in Nantong. Guanyin Zen Temple: The existing Zen temple was rebuilt by Zhang Jian in the early years of the Republic of China. It has a unique architectural style and a quiet surrounding environment. PS: 1. If you want to climb the mountain, burn incense, and see the river view, buy a daytime ticket. The lantern festival ticket cannot be used to climb the mountain. 2. Langshan Mountain is very low. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. Don't worry about your legs. 3. 2–3 hours is enough for a tour. If you are in a hurry, you can take a sightseeing bus.
