The delicate sculptures in the main hall are worth seeing.

#aprilblooms The shrine was founded in the 3rd year of Enkyu (1071) as the head shrine of Chiinosho Village. It was originally located in Minamimura Kaminomiya on the other side of the Yura River, but after it was flooded by a landslide, it was transferred to its current location. The current main hall was rebuilt in 1767. The origin dates back to the 6th year of Wado (713), and it is said that it was a shrine built in this area by the Koga Saburo Kaneie, who had exterminated the big deer, when eight large deer monsters appeared in the village. The enshrined deities are Emperor Ojin, Suwa Myojin, and Chii Ichinomiya Myojin. The precincts are designated as "Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Property Environmental Conservation District", and the main hall of Sanmasha-ryu-zukuri is designated as "Kyoto Prefecture Designated Registered Cultural Property".
