Mingxiu Garden in Wuming, Guangxi.

Mingxiu Garden was the private courtyard of Lu Rongting, the former leader of the Guangxi warlords. It is located in the west of Lingyuan Village, Chengxiang Town, in the western suburbs of Wuming County. The garden covers an area of 42 acres and is shaped like a peninsula, surrounded by water on three sides. The garden is filled with towering ancient trees, strange rocks, crisscrossing paths, and pavilions, creating a quiet and refreshing environment. In 1919, Lu Rongting, the inspector of Guangdong and Guangxi, bought the garden from the grandson of Liang Yuanna (the founder of the garden), and renamed it "Mingxiu Garden" after his uncle Lu Mingxiu. The existing entrance to the garden, the domestic He Feng Yiting Pavilion and the lotus pond, and some stone benches were all built in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1988, Mingxiu Garden was listed as a county (city) level cultural relic protection unit in Nanning.
