Ming Mausoleum: perfect rainy day outing

You can buy a combined ticket, valid for two days, to see most of the historical attractions in the area. You need to buy it through a mini-app and it only costs ¥100. We went to Zixia lake and and the mausoleum and could have easily stayed a few more hours exploring the paths through the forest. It rained intermittently but was still an amazing experience. My suggestion is to bring your own tea/coffee and snacks. We ended up staying past 7pm and had to ask for help leaving the area as the gates were closed. 🤭 there weren’t many people around that day, but I feel like the place is so big that even if the weather had been more clement it would not have too crowded. 10/10 would go again. #nanjing #rainyday #travellingwithkids #2023 #nature #chinanature
