Nanjing Forestry University (Nanjing) – "Scholarly Sakura"

#cherryblossom25 One of the most unexpected cherry blossom highlights of my trip was Nanjing Forestry University. The campus is known for its rich green spaces, and in spring, it transforms into a stunning landscape of pink and white cherry blossoms. The trees are scattered throughout the grounds, giving it a botanical garden vibe. Students and staff were out enjoying the weather, reading, and sketching under the trees. It felt very calm and academic — a great contrast to busier public parks. The combination of nature and knowledge gave the place a unique charm, and it’s an easy, worthwhile detour if you’re in Nanjing during spring.
