Initially, I worried the village homestay might not be clean enough or too simply decorated, but after checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even during major holidays, the crowds are manageable. The MUJI-style ambiance is incredibly cozy, and the traditional rural tile-roofed houses are uniquely charming—rare sights for kids these days. The homestay features a canteen, study room, music room, meeting space, basketball court, and more. Simply strolling around the property is already a delight. Evenings offer outdoor movie screenings or fireworks activities. There aren’t many dining options nearby, so bringing some snacks is a good idea. Dinner at their canteen serves hearty farm-style dishes. Overall, if you’re looking to escape into a rustic countryside experience, this is a solid choice. Nearby, you’ll find reservoirs, farmland, bamboo groves, and a natural oxygen bar—perfect for leisurely walks.
