Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations for a zoo, but Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo truly surprised me 🌳. Located in Xuanwu District, it’s easily accessible by metro and bus, which is already a big plus! The entire zoo is built along the hills, lush with greenery, and divided into several exhibition areas such as the Asia Zone, Predator Zone, Primate Zone, and Children’s Interaction Zone. Each area has clear pathways and signage, making it a comfortable and uncrowded experience 👍. What amazed me the most was the variety of animals and the spacious arrangements: giant pandas 🐼, golden monkeys 🐒, white tigers 🐯, and even polar bears and hippos. The animals’ living spaces are much larger and closer to their natural habitats compared to other zoos I’ve visited in other cities. It’s evident that the zoo is genuinely committed to animal welfare 💚. It’s not just visually appealing but also educational! The zoo features numerous bilingual information boards and interactive zones, allowing both adults and children to learn a lot. It’s a journey that combines conservation, education, and healing✨. And the ticket price is only about 40 RMB, which is incredibly affordable!
