Nanjing Lukou Airport Pullman Hotel Experience Review (Part 2)

📍🏨The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 2, Lukou Airport, Yingbin Road. Officially, it is said to "connect Terminals 1 and 2 of the airport." Follow the signs up the stairs after exiting the subway at "Lukou Airport" station, and you will arrive at the hotel. The hotel entrance faces the 3rd-floor parking lot, making it very convenient for taxis and parking. Because it is built inside the terminal, the hotel's entrance is somewhat modest compared to standalone hotels of the same grade. However, this also means that the hotel's internal elevator can directly reach the underground parking lot, and combined with the outdoor parking lot at the entrance, it is quite user-friendly. Compared to city hotels like the "Sheraton Kingsley," which have the parking lot across the street, this location's unique advantage as a transportation hub is hard to replicate. ⭐PS: The cube billboard of the "Novotel Airport Hotel" at the entrance, which is taller than a person, serves as a promotion for the newly opened hotel. The prices on OTA seem reasonable, so it can be an alternative for those in need. 🏨🏨Walking through the main entrance into the lobby, a wave of cool air mixed with a faint fragrance hits you—not a refreshing scent but a kind of drowsy aroma that is quite pleasant. However, before you can fall asleep, the cool air gives you a jolt. The hotel's interior bronze theme is consistent with the exterior, with three separate front desks illuminated with white light directly facing the main entrance, making it very straightforward. The embedded white strip lights crisscross irregularly on the walls and ceiling, reflecting off the black marble floor like a "laser array" in an enclosed space (reminiscent of Resident Evil). 🛋️🎁The lobby is not very large and can be seen in its entirety from the entrance. Due to floor height restrictions, there is no high ceiling. The left-hand side's lounge area occupies one-third of the space, featuring various fabric gray semi-circular sofas, red leather single sofas, red round seat chairs, and even hollow bar stools, all in a mix of colors and styles. The right-hand side's square area serves both display and lounge functions, with various decorative items and black, gray, red, and green sofas and chairs arranged neatly. The small gifts placed neatly by the glass door add a unique touch to the design that integrates the display or gift area with the lobby. ⭐Tips: The entire lobby seems to lack a consistent design theme, with styles ranging from straight lines, curves, circles, and squares to materials like leather, knit, and fabric, and colors like bronze, dark, and a mix of bright colors. While this can be called "eclectic" in a positive light, it can also be seen as "hodgepodge" in a negative light. Although the overall color scheme is dark to enhance visual unity, it still feels like there are too many elements in the design. This "eclectic" style is pervasive throughout the hotel, whether in guest rooms, lounges, restaurants, or recreational areas. Each place's eclectic style is unique, as if designed by multiple "very creative" designers working independently.
