(The best time to see the rime is generally in January every year) Rime is neither ice nor snow; its formation requires extremely low temperatures and sufficient moisture. Having both conditions to form rime is extremely important yet mutually contradictory, making it truly precious. Rime is like fog but not fog, blurry and clear, both contradictory and compatible. The water vapor that has not yet sublimated in the fog continuously accumulates with the wind, forming a white frosted texture deposit hanging on the branches. Unlike the crystal-clear icicles, the frosted texture of the rime appears very noble.
