You don't have to leave Nanjing to see the sea of rapeseed flowers; it feels like you've arrived in Wuyuan, right in Shecun, just an hour's drive from the city center. The Qingming holiday has passed, and the upcoming week is perfect for flower viewing trips without the crowds, still very pleasant. Moreover, Shecun is not only about rapeseed flowers! 🌈Rapeseed Flowers——Great for photography There are mainly 3 flower fields, located at the Cruise Center, Chunhe Tea Coffee, and the Ming and Qing architecture complex, offering stunning photo opportunities. 🌈Shili Changshan Gully——Suitable for hiking Known as Nanjing's Little Three Gorges, there's a mine pit lake in the middle of the canyon with cliffs standing tall on both sides. The starting point is at the Dragon's Lair parking lot, not too difficult, takes a little over 1 hour. 🌈Longdu Quarry I first learned about Shecun because of this quarry, which is now closed. I flew over it and saw that it resembles the Danxia landform, giving off a vibe of the great northwest. 🌈Little Sichuan-Tibet Highway——Suitable for cycling Navigate from the village to Longshang Village, and you'll complete this mountain road, with beautiful scenery along the way, experiencing the feeling of 30 continuous curves. 🌈Shecun Reservoir, Longshang Lake——Suitable for camping Going down from the Little Sichuan-Tibet Highway will lead to Longshang Lake, which is also lit up at night. People camp by the lake, and the warm weather is suitable for overnight stays, with fewer people than at Shecun Reservoir. 🌈Artistic Coffee Shops——Great for zoning out There are more than a dozen coffee shops, big and small, in the village. Some of my personal favorites are Xiaoshan Coffee, South Wind Cottage, and Chunhe Field Tea Coffee. 🌈Dragon's Lair Paradise——Suitable for taking kids The most popular attraction is the rafting project, which is even more fun in summer. 📍Navigate to "Shecun Ming and Qing Dynasty Architectural Complex" No entrance fee, parking available in the village (arrive early on holidays, otherwise there's no parking space, and you'll need to take a shuttle bus into the village).
