First Impression of Nanjing City Wall

#freehotelstay Despite being huge structrure of 21 kilometers long and being around since Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) it also seemed fragile and in need of protection. The development of surrounding city seems to swallow this historical masterpiece which is a cradle of life for much older part of the city then anything that is happening outside of its surrounding walls. Luckily the remaining wall, out of original 35 kilometers in lenght, is uder state protection and seems to be safe from further deterioration. #spintheworld #mytravelhacks #familytrip #localguides
