Astonishing architecture atop a mountain!

This hidden gem in Nanjing, Jiangsu offers visitors a memorable trip up Niu Shou Shan (牛首山). Besides magnificent views of Nanjing city from the mountain, you will be greeted by an opulent dome which houses a few levels of Buddha and deities, all meticulously sculpted by skilled craftsmen. Next to the dome is a beautiful Chinese pagoda which allows entry for visitors to catch a bird’s eye view of this marvelous architectural site. Despite being there over a national holiday weekend, the crowd was well controlled and orderly. Tickets to the attraction can be purchased online prior to your visit.
