A Beautiful Monument to Sun Yat-sen

#tripblazers #couplestrip #nanjing Sun Yat-sen, (or Sun Zongshan in mandarin) was one of the main figureheads who fought for modern China. His dying wish was to be buried in the mountains in Nanjing, hence this beautiful mausoleum being built. The view from the top of the incredible amount of steps is beautiful, but what I found more interesting was the buildings themselves, with a unique mixture of Chinese and Western architectural elements.
