The Wengzhong Sacred road

#tripblazers #couplestrip #nanjing Situated in Zongshan park, the Wengzhong Sacred road leads the traveller all the way to the Ming dynasty tombs. There are two sections of the path, the first being lined with sacred animals such as elephants, camels and the mythical Chinese unicorns (made up of a lion, dragon and other beasts). The second section, which is about 250 meters long, has impressive and imposing statues of generals and civil officers. Well worth a visit if you’re in the park.
