When you come to Nanchong for the first time, how can you not visit 'Beihu Park'! Not only does it boast natural scenery, but it also has a rich cultural history. This millennium-old park has also witnessed the rise of Nanchong. In the hustle and bustle of the city, stumbling upon 'Beihu Park' offers a sense of comfort and belonging. It seems that everyone can release their accumulated stress here and find a moment of inner peace. What I recommend the most is the evening time, when the afterglow of the sunset is poetic and picturesque, showing the gentleness of the evening; as the glow of the sunset fills the sky and reflects on the pavilions and waterside pavilions, it looks like a painting of a beautiful lake and mountain scene, astonishing to behold. 'The Past and Present of Beihu' Beihu is an ancient body of water; during the Western Han Dynasty, it was known as 'Fish Pond,' and in the Ming Dynasty, it was called 'Beihu.' During the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, it was also known as 'Jiahu'; in modern times, it was called 'Lotus Pond.' In 1984, when the park was built, it was officially named 'Beihu,' and Hu Yaobang inscribed the name plaque for 'Nanchong City Beihu Park.' 'Main Attractions of Beihu' To the east is called 'Oasis': 'Guan Yu Pavilion,' where sitting by the water offers a unique ambiance. In the center is called 'Floating Greenery': 'Qingfeng Pavilion,' which also has many tables, chairs, and benches for resting and recharging. To the west is called 'Bird Paradise': with small ponds, waterfalls, and rockeries, offering a scene at every step, fully displaying the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. In spring, the flowers bloom like brocade, fish glide in shallow water, willows sway with the wind, and the small bridges and bamboo paths are like a poetic and picturesque scene, bringing a sense of pleasure to the heart.
