2025 Huangma Fenghuanggou 18th Nanchang Cherry Blossom Festival

The Cherry Blossom Festival will take place from March 1 to April 13. During this period, various flowers such as Prunus campanulata, Yoshino cherry, tulips, and purple magnolias will gradually bloom. The best viewing period for cherry blossoms is expected to be from mid-to-late March. This year's Cherry Blossom Festival introduces new attractions, including the Sakura Pavilion, which offers a 360-degree view of the cherry blossoms from above, and the 1,000-meter Prunus campanulata cherry blossom tunnel, providing visitors with a fresh perspective on flower viewing. The festival consists of four themed activities and five interactive activities, including an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, a cherry blossom anime exhibition, a cycling carnival, and a cherry blossom night feast. Interactive activities include Hanfu costume experiences, feeding small animals, and a food and cultural and creative market. Visitors can take a dragon and phoenix-themed float through the vast cherry blossom forest in Fenghuanggou Cherry Blossom Valley. Over 20 varieties of cherry blossoms, including Taiwan cherry blossoms, early and late Japanese cherry blossoms, winter cherry blossoms, and red-leaf cherry blossoms, create a breathtaking spectacle, allowing visitors to truly experience the unique charm of the blossoms. Fenghuanggou Scenic Area has created a unique cherry blossom valley known for its "largest scale, most varieties, and top-notch scenery." In early spring, more than 10 varieties of cherry blossoms, mainly early Japanese cherry blossoms and Yoshino cherry blossoms, bloom in competition with each other. Some are as white as snow, some are as bright as clouds, and some are as red as cinnabar, creating a breathtaking spectacle of cherry blossoms. 1. By car: Expressway: Take the G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, Wenhou section, and exit at Huangma. Turn left after exiting and drive 2 km to Fenghuanggou Scenic Area. National Highway: Take National Highway 320, turn right at Liangjiadu section onto Lanyuan Avenue, and drive 2 km. 2.
