The new museum of Jiangxi Science and Technology Museum is located on the shore of Ganjiang River in Nanchang, east of Honggu North Avenue in Fenghuangzhou, south of Minjiang Road, west of Ganjiang North Avenue, and north of Haojiang Road. It is one of the projects of the provincial cultural center. Since the construction began on August 1, 2016, the total construction area of the new museum has been 80,000 square meters (including 10,000 square meters underground). The total investment of the project is expected to be 680 million yuan. The permanent exhibition hall of the new museum of Jiangxi Science and Technology Museum is 20,000 square meters, and the total area of the latter permanent exhibition hall is 6,500 square meters. The new pavilion will have a brand-new children's science park, special effects cinema, popular science theater, permanent exhibition hall, science education activity room, temporary exhibition hall, etc. After the new pavilion realizes the trinity of physical science and technology museum, mobile science and technology museum and digital science and technology museum, the exhibition hall will be opened to the public free of charge and become a science hall for the public in the province, especially young people, to experience the process and methods of scientific exploration. #passionpassport
