Wat Huakhueng, Nan

Wat Hua Khueng is located on Maha Phrom Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province. It is an important temple in the Hua Ring area of ​​Nan City. It is next to Ho Kham or the Nan National Museum and the residence of the former governor of Nan. It is unknown when it was built. It is assumed that it was built in the late Lanna period, 20th-22nd Buddhist century. There are beautiful murals inside the temple. There is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, which is a local Lanna Buddhist art style, Nan craftsmen's school, with exquisite craftsmanship.
