Unlike crowded flower festivals even on weekday mornings, this serene and leisurely Cornelian cherry blossom spot is located in Yonggung Village, Namwon! I didn't have high expectations due to the lack of information, but to my surprise, Namwon has such a beautiful Cornelian cherry blossom spot. The warm sunlight fills every corner of the village, and the fully bloomed blossoms perfectly complement the peaceful atmosphere of Yonggung Village. I spent a long time playing with the children from a local daycare who were out for a walk, completely losing track of time. Starting tomorrow, March 22, the Jirisan Juchon Cornelian Cherry Blossom Festival will kick off in Yonggung Village, making it an even more delightful experience.
