Come to Sun Island to start your vacation, nourish your soul, and enjoy the beauty of life. Sun Island made our first trip to the Maldives special. We stayed in a water bungalow with incredible views and great privacy. Each bungalow has stairs leading directly to the sea and is just a few steps from the beach. The island has the best facilities, and we especially enjoyed the variety of sports: tennis, badminton, basketball, squash, table tennis, and netball. There is also a modern and well-equipped gym next door. Another aspect we loved was the food. All the extra-charge restaurants were delicious, but we mainly enjoyed the all-inclusive Southern Star buffet, which was delightful if you like Indian food or pasta. Most importantly, the staff on this island made this trip so special. Just to name a few: Rachel, Singh, and Sushma were front desk/waiters at a restaurant in the south. The three of them spent a lot of time remembering our names and room numbers to ensure a smooth experience, while always smiling brightly and making us feel at home. Nilan, Ayya, and Ramesh - three excellent chefs who cooked fresh food for us in front of us. The food was absolutely delicious, and each chef was enthusiastic about meeting any of our requests. Issayas - hosted our private romantic sunset dinner on the beach. He took many photos at our request to capture the moment. Diego - our excellent cleaner, who kept our room spotless for all 10 nights, with a full clean twice a day. He was very friendly and happy to help at any time. Dhanya - helped us check in and was our contact throughout the holiday. She arranged all our trips and made sure the room was decorated for two birthdays throughout the trip. Finally, thanks to all the other members of Stop, who were always happy to help and always smiling. We will be back!
