Walk along the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom, enjoy the view, taste fresh tea and coffee.

Nakhon Phanom...a riverside city with one of the best air quality in Thailand. It's not crowded, with good food and plenty of old buildings renovated into inviting cafes. Today, I started walking from the clock tower along the Mekong River. When I got tired, I stopped for a cup of tea or coffee. Near the Naga Plaza, there's a convenience store on the Mekong River. The upper floor serves coffee and drinks, along with a wide selection of bakery items. There's also a 7-Eleven with a great view. I envy the people of Nakhon Phanom, who have bike paths and jogging tracks for exercise along the Mekong River. It's truly a riverside city with the best views.
