Farm Tomita

#thingstodo If you are lucky with the weather, it’s absolutely gorgeous to visit. The rows of colourful flowers, combined with the open sky and distant mountains make it a necessary visit if you’re in Hokkaido. There are a lot of buses bringing tourists in the summer, so be aware it can get busy, but it didn’t feel cramped when I was outside the buildings. The ice-cream was delicious (I recommend melon and lavender), just make sure you eat it quickly. It melts very fast in the heat. The farm shops are very beautiful and well decorated, and sell all sorts, including dried flowers, perfumes, decorations and food items. The closest all-year train station is a 20-25 minute walk away, and only 5 minutes by train from Furano. The melon farm next door is also a necessary visit!
