One of Japan's three major Kannon temples: Osu Kannon Temple, Nagoya

The Osu Kannon Temple in Osu, Naka-ku, Nagoya was founded in 1333. It is one of the three great Kannon temples in Japan, along with the Asakusa Kannon in Sensō-ji Temple in Tokyo and the Tsu Kannon in Mie Prefecture. Although it was destroyed by a fire during the Meiji era and the Nagoya air raid, it has been rebuilt several times and is still preserved today.
