Nagoya Zoo in the Winter Sun

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is located at 3-70 Higashiyama Motomachi, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, and opened in 1937. The park has a botanical garden, zoo, amusement park, sky tower, and other facilities. Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is very large, and it takes about 5–6 hours to visit. Two-thirds of the park is a zoo, and one-third is a botanical garden. There are interesting animals such as koalas, giraffes, raccoons, Asian elephants, hippos, and gorillas. Transportation: Take the Higashiyama Line to Higashiyama Koen Station, and walk 3 minutes from Exit 3.
