This is probably the greenest Buddha in the world

You may have seen golden Buddhas, you may have seen jade Buddhas, but you might not have seen a Buddha as green as this one. In Nagoya, there is a temple called Tougen-ji, and inside is a very green Buddha. The entire body of the Buddha is painted in emerald green, while the eyes, lips, and ears are painted in gold. Such a contrasting color scheme is extremely rare in the world. The pedestal under the Buddha is also uniquely designed, not the common lotus pedestal, but instead, it is shaped like 10 large elephants. Such bold colors and design are indeed very unusual. 🚇How to get there: You can take the train to 'Motoyama Station', come out of Exit 6, turn a corner, and you'll reach Tougen-ji. ⚠️Important Notes: 1️⃣Tougen-ji is currently in a semi-abandoned state, and there is a cemetery nearby, so it is advised that those who are faint-hearted should not go alone. 2️⃣There are a lot of very aggressive mosquitoes in the summer, so be sure to use mosquito repellent. 3️⃣If you are driving, Tougen-ji has a parking lot.
