At the Arimatsu Yamasha Kaikan, you can see the floats that are pulled at the Arimatsu Tenmangu Shrine Autumn Festival, which is held every year on the first Sunday of October. There are three floats in Arimatsu: the Hotei float in Higashimachi, the Karako float in Nakamachi, and the Jingu Kogo float in Nishimachi, and the hall rotates between them each year. There is also a video explanation of the floats, and you can see up close the techniques that have been used since the Edo period and continue to be used today. It's definitely worth a visit.
