It’s the National Day holiday soon, so I chose Japan’s niche attractions, Tsumago-juku, and walked on Nakasendo

The road from Magome to Tsumago is somewhat similar to the ancient roads in Zhejiang. The 8km journey ended with a casual walk of 2 hours. We walked a long way and looked at the scenery. We arrived at Tsumago and had a bowl of the village's unique soba noodles. It tasted so good. Tsumago-juku is the 42nd stop of Nakasendo (Nakasendo No. 69), located on the east bank of the Ran River in Minami-Kiso Town, Kiso-gun, Nagano Prefecture. Along with neighboring Magome-juku, the pass leading to Magome-juku is also a famous tourist spot representing Kiso Road. Both Tsumago-juku and Magome-juku retain the streetscapes of the Edo period such as short columns on beams and vertical latticework. There are also many time-honored inns, tea houses, bulletin boards, etc. It feels like I have traveled back to the Edo period.
