Kii Peninsula Trip | Wakayama Matsushima Cruise

My Kii Peninsula trip updates continue. I finally made it from Mie Prefecture to my beloved Wakayama Prefecture. The fourth day of this trip was also very exciting. I left the hotel early in the morning and walked to Katsuura Kanko Pier. I took the 8:30 am Matsushima Cruise to enjoy the sea scenery. This boat also took me to my next highly anticipated destination. The entire cruise takes about 55 minutes. Since I disembarked midway, I enjoyed 40 minutes of the seascape. I chose Route A, which offers views of natural scenery such as Kii-Matsushima, Camel Rock, and Lion Rock. You can also see the famous seaside cave baths of the Urashima Hotel. The full cruise price for adults is JPY 1,800, but since I got off midway, it cost JPY 1,400. Children are half price. There are other routes available at slightly different prices.
