this place is fantastic get away especially family and kids .The city offers loads of great restaurants and entertainment just be sure to use Trip Advisor for reviews, the tourist traps outnumber the good places 10/1. The city has done nice job keeping the place clean; however on this last trip I did notice some sketchy activity in the area, especially on the corner Mr. Joe White Ave. & 17, outside of Mammy’s Kitchen. Overall Myrtle Beach has converted from a party place to a family place, and only the downtown area needs a good scrubbing. For shopping visit Barefoot Landing, Boardwalk on the Beach, and Market Common, for dining KW Cafeteria is cheep and very good (especially breakfast this is one of the places you need to visit especially summer or spring break #tripblazers
