This time I will introduce a very famous attraction in Mandalay: Mount Popa. Poppa Mountain is 1,518 meters above sea level and means "Mountain of Flowers" in Burmese. There are temples and pagodas built on the mountain. The temples are on almost vertical rock bodies. The Popa Taungkalat Monastery on the top of the mountain enshrines 37 gods of Nath religion and is vividly called "Burma's Mount Olympus", meaning the residence of the gods.
