Enjoy the view along the Mekong River

#triptravelchina The Mekong River originates from the Himalayas, formed by the melting of ice in the Tibetan Plateau, flowing through China, Myanmar, and Laos. It begins flowing through Thai territory at Sop Ruak, Golden Triangle, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province, and flows eastward through Chiang Khong District before flowing into Laos at Kaeng Pha Dai, Wiang Kaen District, Chiang Rai Province. It is therefore the last point of the Mekong River that flows through northern Thailand. The total length of the section that flows through the Thai-Laos border in Chiang Rai Province is approximately 180 kilometers.
