Tochigi Moka: White Snake Benzaiten

This shrine is located in Moka City, Tochigi Prefecture, about a 10-minute walk from Moka Railway's Kugeda Station. According to the shrine's records, it is said that the deity was divided from Miyajima in Aki and enshrined in the current Koikegafuchi in the 2nd year of Daiei (1522). It is believed that washing money with the sacred water from the waterfall, which springs from deep underground beneath the main shrine, will increase financial luck, bring prosperity in business, and even heal illnesses. 📍 Be careful as the road in front of the shrine is narrow. 📍 The first parking lot next to the shrine is small. 📍 There are three parking lots available.
