Traveling across half of China to Mohe, escaping the 40°C heat is just amazing

It is the northernmost city in China. While some places are still immersed in the 'high-temperature steaming' mode, here people are already wearing cotton-padded jackets. · Mohe County Town I think the county town is more worth visiting than Beiji Village. Mohe County Town has many European-style buildings, and walking on the streets feels like being in a European town. The food in the county town is also great. After leaving the Mohe Ballroom, I randomly found a small restaurant, and the food was incredibly delicious. Places you must visit in the county town: Songyuan and the Daxing'anling Fire Memorial Hall. The Daxing'anling 5.6 fire is a pain for everyone. · Beiji Village Tickets: 68; Sightseeing car: 30 yuan The sightseeing car is divided into the south line and the north line. To be honest, it is still relatively commercialized at the moment. The fun part is finding various 'northernmost' spots here. · Beihong Village A village even further north than Beiji Village. Friends who like a more primitive style can come here. Currently, there is no public transportation to reach it, but you can drive yourself or ask a chartered car driver. · About Accommodation I stayed near the county bus station, where there are daily buses to and from Beiji Village, which is quite convenient. Departure: 7:00, 10:30 Return: 13:00, 17:00 You can ask the innkeeper for specific details after arriving in Mohe. · This year, due to geomagnetic storms, many people have captured the long-lost aurora in Mohe, but this really depends on luck. · About Transportation Transportation in Mohe is very convenient, with an airport and a train station. There are multiple flights to Harbin every day. For those not in a hurry, you can also take a train to leave. Mohe to Harbin takes about 18 hours. The summer version of the Snow Country Train has a different kind of beauty.
