I like Miyazaki's charm of being away from the world. The Miyazaki Jingu Shrine is quietly located in the dense greenery, and it is a quiet and sacred place that seems to be isolated from the world. As a shrine dedicated to Emperor Jimmu, it not only has a profound historical heritage, but also exudes a gentle yet firm sacred atmosphere. Walking through the straight approach to the temple, the towering cedar trees on both sides silently guard it, as if leading people on a journey of dialogue with their inner selves. The architecture of the shrine is simple yet majestic. The unpainted wooden structure blends in with nature. It is neither artificial nor noisy, leaving only a sense of tranquility and solemnity. Especially the Zhongque Gate, a wooden door with a golden chrysanthemum pattern as the center stands quietly, exuding a sense of royal dignity in its low-key manner, making people involuntarily slow down their pace and pass through with respect. There isn't much tourist noise here, only the sound of wind blowing through leaves, the echo of footsteps on gravel, and a moment when the heart slowly calms down. The entire house is built with unpainted wood, and the traces of time are intertwined with the natural texture, showing a calm and restrained beauty. The center of the door is inlaid with a golden "sixteen-petal eight-layer chrysanthemum pattern", symbolizing the connection between the royal family and the sacred, low-key yet extremely noble. A white cloth curtain with the same chrysanthemum pattern hung on the door, swaying gently in the wind, as if whispering ancient legends and spirituality. Looking up, you can see the chandelier between the wooden roofs, which adds a touch of solemn beauty to the entire space.
