Experience the blue of Miyako Island

Our second stop was Miyako Island, a beautiful Pacific island and a popular cruise destination. It's hard to get to without a cruise. Miyako Island is small, with many sugarcane fields and farms, and is famous for its brown sugar. There are also few cars on the island. We chose to rent a car and went to Higashi-Hennazaki, which has a lighthouse and a children's slide. We also went to Shigira Beach, a popular snorkeling spot. It's worth going snorkeling next time because the water is very clear and calm. We also went to a supermarket. Miyako Island is really beautiful and relaxing, and worth visiting again.
