Easter in Amalfi

Once a year the small village of Minori on the Amalfi coast welcomes visitors from the surrounding area for a true festival of light. Starting in the early hours of the morning on Good Friday, locals descend from the surrounding valleys, torches in handing towards the church at the heart of Minori. Once night fall appears the whole towns lights are turned off and residents light candles to guide the procession through true narrow and winding streets.
