Akiyoshido Cave, Yamaguchi Prefecture

Akiyoshido Cave is located 100 meters underground in Akiyoshidai in central Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is a collection of strange rocks and stones that have accumulated over tens of millions of years. It is also the largest and most spectacular stalactite cave in Japan. There is also the "Hundred Plates" which is said to be the largest in the world.
