While sightseeing in the Boso Peninsula, we came across Odori Kitchen in Shirahama, which uses local ingredients, and ordered baked pasta from Jizayo-no-san. We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. We visited without a reservation, just after 1pm, outside of lunchtime, but it was bustling with ladies. After looking into it, we found out it's a popular restaurant and we recommend making a reservation. The coast is famous as a drama filming location! The sea is beautiful and it's not that big, so l think it's the best place to relax. It may have been used as a filming location, and there are some interesting spots nearby, so you can enjoy it on a day trip, but I also recommend staying overnight while relaxing in the hot springs. You can also walk to the fishing port, so you can enjoy something different in the morning. It's a place where there aren't too many people around, so I get the impression that there aren't many families.
